Hoods Up at the Kutztown Kruizz

The Kutztown Kruizz returns to Main Street in Kutztown on July 29th. One of the fastest growing car events in the region, the Kruizz annually attracts over 250 cars and several thousand spectators.

The day begins at 10:30 am with registration and staging at the Kutztown Area High School, followed by a noontime parade of cars down Main Street where they will remain on display for the day.

In addition to viewing vehicles of all makes, models and years, visitors will be treated to many other activities and of course, lots of great food and shopping.

Children will have art activity spaces, hosted by the Kutztown Area Transport Service and the Local Folk Creative Studio.

There will be live music performances during the afternoon. The Dave Mell Blues Band will provide blues, classic rock and R & B standards on the Main Street Stage. DJ Jeff George of Jumpin’ J Entertainment will have you rocking out or singing along with Karaoke in the 100 block of Main Street.

The Main Street event draws to a close with a 4:00 pm car awards ceremony at the Main Street Stage.

The Kruizz continues into the evening with a 6:00 pm concert in Kutztown Park featuring the Fabulous Grease Band.

The Kruizz is hosted by Kutztown Strong, a local charitable non-profit. All proceeds from the Kruizz help the grassroots coalition to continue programs and activities that support the behavioral health and well-being of local children, youth and families.
